Dynamic Analysis

PREAMBLE
Large motions, speeds and/or accelerations, induced by environmental loads, can origin considerable forces on the asset to be laid, therefore it is necessary to foresee these motions and limit the allowable weather.SCOPE OF WORK
By Dynamic Analysis we determine the maximum sea states that the vessel can withstand during the laying operations.

ADDITIONAL SCOPE

  • Project-Specific Vessel’s Stability;
  • Mooring Analysis;
  • Sensitivity study for one or more parameters;
  • Motion Analysis;
  • Crush load Analysis;
  • Free Lay Analysis
  • Survival Analysis;
  • Free Span Analysis;
  • On-bottom Stability;
  • etc.

CALCULATION TOOLS
Offshore industry program, developed by Orcina,  “ORCAFLEX” at its latest release.
